California Adventure

We decided to go to California Adventure the first day. California Adventure closed at 6:00 pm the day we went and Disneyland closed at 8. Having been to both parks before we decided to spend the next day at Disneyland because it was open much longer and California Adventure doesn't have as much to do for young children, unless we went to shows all day. And even then...it was a stretch.

We split up a lot more here than Disneyland. Mainly because Matt and Elijah could go on all the rides and Ally, Lauren and I couldn't do anything fun. :/

But here are our pictures:
Ally wanted to stop at every character and every street show. We saw Minnie, Mickey, Jesse, Woody, Cinderella, Donald, Lilo and Stitch, Chip and Dale, Daisy, the Incredibles and the fake cast of High School Musical. It was great. Although I have to say, I look horrible in this picture.

Another thing, Lauren was scared of all the people in costumes. She was fine unless one of them got close. Like in this picture.
Lauren loved the Merry-go-round. They have one at Disneyland too, but she went on this one twice.
Look mom and dad! We got Elijah on the Monsters Inc. ride. This is where he is wondering why he was afraid of it last time.

Matt and Lauren on the Ferris Wheel. I have to say it was pretty fun. Definitely go for a swinging gondola. It was really fun.
We had split up and ended up in the same line an hour later. So Matt sat with the girls. They were excited.
Matt and Elijah went on the TOWER of TERROR! And he loved it! lol. He said later though, his favorite ride was California Soarin'. It was all of our first time and it was fun. Lauren missed out on that one, but I'm sure she'll get another chance.
